A few years ago I wouldn’t even touch a phone camera and all the photos on Facebook were ones my friends took of me. But then when I was a year short of graduating high school, I could see the time slipping away before me and so I undertook to capture it, first with my parents’ Canon point-and-shoot, and most recently with the Canon 6D.

My name is Ksenia, which in Greek means ‘foreigner’ or ‘guest’ and I find this a perfect description of my life. I was born in Siberia and then moved to the southern US, went to college in New England and often visit my family in Germany. This blog is my foreign perspective on everything I come across.
